The Netherlands born singer/producer Nomi $hanya has released her latest single, "Don't Be Fooled".
The new single (Currently streamed more than 11K times) is a love song about a relationship in which the other person is worried and insecure. About the new smooth ballad, Nomi said, "I put myself in the shoes of that girl trying to comfort that person and explain myself". Nomi produced, wrote, mixed, and mastered the new track herself.
Listening to artists like India Arie, Musiq Soulchild, D’Angelo, and many more R&B artists helped inspired Nomi into a music career. She started performing for big crowds at the age of 10. In 2014 she performed at Kwaku Festival (a multicultural festival in Amsterdam) and has performed multiple times at Dewi’s Jam (jam sessions in Amsterdam). When she turned sixteen she wanted to produce her own songs professionally and started studying Sound Design. For Nomi, making music has been the key to learning herself.
