The Murcian twins Angela and Johanna, known as Simétrica, have just released their fourth single, "Besos De Despedida."
Produced by Curro Merino, who has worked for artists such as Gente de Zona and Juan Magán, Besos De Despida, which translates to Farewell kisses in English is a heartbreak song with a catchy beat and a message to remember the little moments that life offers us.
Besos De Despedida was written by the two singers of Simétrica, who have wanted to capture the nostalgia they felt during the months of confinement when not being able to see their loved ones. Angela and Johana said that the pandemic has helped them "to appreciate, value and/or enjoy any simple routine act as if it were the last time."
The video clip was recorded in a rural area of Murcia and captured their daily moments as a couple. The video clip was directed by Albel Morte, who has been a candidate for several Goya Awards for some of his work.
Despite being 22 years old, the sisters have been dedicating themselves to music for more than 13 years, since they were finalists in the famous television show "Veo Veo" by Teresa Rabal. However, it was in 2015 when they decided to form the Simétrica duo, with which they have participated in numerous festivals and have built a large fan base in Murcia.
